Are you interested in being an Anti-Discrimination Contact Officer?
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from current Anglicare staff for ADCO positions in the South and North West regions.
Please note ADCO positions are voluntary (unpaid roles). Once appointed ADCOs will participate in structured Contact Officer Training that is in-line with the Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commission. The cost of this training and other associated expenditure is fully funded by Anglicare.
The primary role of an Anti-Discrimination Contact Officer is to:
- Explain, support and provide employees with information about what constitutes discrimination, harassment and bullying and ensures employees are provided with copies of organisational policies and procedures regarding discrimination, harassment and bullying.
- Listens to employees and provide them with information regarding the options which are available to an employee to assist them resolve their concerns.
- Assist and refer an employee who may decide to make a formal complaint to the appropriate person for investigation.
- Promote Anglicare’s zero tolerance stances on discrimination, harassment and bullying through activities such as new employee induction meetings, team meetings etc.

Selection Process
Expressions of Interest will be assessed by a panel. The panel will include representative from Human Resources and Executive Management Team.
