Engaging Adolescentsâ„¢ Parenting Course

A parenting course for managing difficult behaviour with your teenage children.  Includes skills to address and resolve problems that arise.

In this FREE 3-Session program designed for parents and carers, you will learn:

  • Common ground shared by parents and reasonable expectations to hold about adolescents
  • A new understanding of adolescence
  • A three-option model & flow chart for decision-making
  • To self check-in, first – for parents
  • How to build a relationship with your teenager and making the best of your non-crisis conversations with them
  • Skills for tough conversations for handling those problems you just can’t ignore.

The Engaging Adolescents parenting course will be delivered by Anglicare Tasmania at the Church House, 1 Franklin Street Triabunna, over 3 consecutive Tuesdays this March 2025 as follows:

  • Tuesday 11th March – 7 pm – 9 pm
  • Tuesday 18th March – 7 pm – 9 pm
  • Tuesday 25th March – 7 pm – 9 pm
