New look for Anglicare website
We relaunched the Anglicare website with a new look and feel late last week.
The relaunch was about much more than trying to design an attractive website. At the centre of all our efforts was the principle of ensuring a good user experience. We understand that most people seeking services with Anglicare are likely to be experiencing some stress and / or are making some big decisions in their life so we wanted to make sure that seeking information on our site doesn’t add to their pressure.
With the wealth and breadth of services we provide, it is never going to be simple to arrange the information so during this next phase, we will closely monitor who is using the site and how they are moving around it.
Some of the main changes that will be most apparent are:
- The provision of accessibility controls for colour contrasts, page layout and font size
- Easy to navigate search filters for News and Media articles and Research and Publication posts
- Stories are being featured on the home page
- Inclusion of the Social Action & Research Centre
- Centralised information portals for our primary service pillars
- Disability and Mental Health Services (including NDIS supports)
- Aged and Home Care Services
- Support for all of life’s challenges
As you familiarise yourself with the website’s new layout and content, we hope you find it to be a more intuitive and pleasurable experience.
Thanks to everyone who provided feedback last week. As is often the case, there was some tweaking required when the site became public so your advice on broken links and the like was much appreciated.
If you have any content ideas, please do make contact with us to discuss as we are always looking for fresh new information. And of course let us know if you spot any more errors so we can correct asap Email Marketing
