Submission in response to Clinical Services Plan Issues Paper

Anglicare supports the design principles proposed for the public hospital system in the Clinical Services Plan Issues Paper.  However Anglicare would also like to raise concerns about the Plan’s impact on the access that low income households have to a public health service system which is increasingly centralised.  These concerns are the current lack of accessible and affordable transport to and from health and other services and especially specialist centres, and the interface between the public health system and community based services.
