Submission to the National Drug Strategy 2010-2015, Consultation Draft

Anglicare believes the National Drug Strategy must be backed up by appropriate resourcing and resourcing should continue to be directed into promoting and sustaining cultural change across sectors. It advocates for a more substantial framework to support consumer engagement in the Alcohol and Other Drug sector, as existing models tend to consist of passive questionnaires. There is a concern that community stakeholders are not sufficiently engaged with policy development and review.
