Anglicare has found that delivering employment services is a highly practical means of supporting the health and wellbeing, social inclusion and economic participation of people living with disability. However, Anglicare believes that tendering more than 80% of Disability Employment Services will put extra stress on a sector already under pressure. It argued that current performance measures do not adequately account for the quality of support provided and that a competitive environment is not suited to the work of the DES sector.
