Submission to Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Bill 2013

Anglicare’s submission supported a centralised system for background checks on those working with vulnerable people. However, Anglicare had concerns that the Bill might limit volunteering and job opportunities for people with diverse life experience, including people who had mental health problems or experience of alcohol or other drug misuse.
