Submission in response to Draft Tasmanian Homelessness Charter, Version 2

Whilst more comprehensive than the First Draft, the Second Draft still has inconsistencies and gaps. Anglicare believes the Charter is in need of consumer input to refine the at times patronising language of the Charter and to build understanding and empathy for the circumstances of people experiencing homelessness. To illustrate this, this submission includes a ‘Letter to Service Providers’ written by a person who has experienced homelessness.
