Submission to 2014-15 State Budget Consultation

Anglicare’s Submission to the Tasmanian State Government 2014-15 Budget Community Consultation focused on young people and their families. Anglicare urged the State Government to direct $10 million towards these groups. Out-of-home care and family and child advocacy were among the areas in need of additional funding. Child Protection Services need to collaborate with other services to best meet children’s needs. Schools were also seen as key sites for improving child and family wellbeing.
