Submission to Southern Water’s Draft Customer Charter

Social Action and Research Centre Submission

This submission is underpinned by two core principles: first, that water and sewerage services are essential, not discretionary; and second, that customer service standards should be designed to meet the needs of the most disadvantaged before considering more affluent consumers. It thus considers the areas of literacy and numeracy, financial counselling, disconnections, and certain definitions.
