New Year, new roles

A photo of the four new home care workers

Congratulations to Aged Care Services team members Renae, Cheryl and Rebecca for graduating with a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) this year.

This qualification will see them move from their current roles as cleaners into Home Care Worker roles in 2023.

Delivered by Foresite Training and completed over nine months, the course included a 120-hour work placement that was coordinated by Anglicare.

Here’s what Renae and Cheryl had to say about their study journey:

Renae:

I have enjoyed every minute of the Cert lll. I now have a better understanding of our role in the community setting and will be able to use my training to provide a holistic approach to care for our clients. Thank you to Anglicare for this opportunity.

Cheryl:

I have really enjoyed doing the Cert III this year. I have learned so much and I’m looking forward to being able to help our clients in a broader way. Thanks so much to Anglicare, Tracy from Foresite Training, Bec and Renae for all the support.
