SMART Family & Friends Program

Being in a close relationship with someone struggling with a problem behaviour can be highly stressful.

The SMART Family and Friends Program is designed to support people who are struggling with a problem behaviour related to alcohol, drug use, gambling, hoarding or other behaviours of concern.

Anglicare Tasmania provides free SMART Family and Friends support sessions that meet in person.

They will help you to:

  • Engage in self-care, focus on your own goals and values
  • Challenge your own thinking, explore your feelings and behaviours
  • Learn self-empowerment and self-resilience, seek support and problem solve
  • Put meaning and satisfaction back into your own life.
