Anglicare Tasmania is currently expanding their team of Home Care Workers to work with older people in their homes and community.  They need to have experience working in the aged care sector and have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or the equivalent qualification.

• Generous above award pay.

Anglicare Tasmania has always paid above the award wage.  On the 1^st July 2023 the fair work commission implemented a 15% pay increase for those working in the aged care sector.  Anglicare Tasmania made the decision to pass on the full 15% increase on top of their current pay rate as well as another 5.75% increase from the fair work commission annual wage review. That’s more than a 20% pay increase!

The salary will range between $32.94 to $37.51 an hour.

• Paid travel time and high per km expense rate.
• You can salary package up to $15,900 a year in tax-free income.
• You will work with each person individually in their home or community which gives you quality time with your clients.
• You have a team of home care managers, nurses and schedulers available to support you –  just a phone call away.
• Client service times are generally between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday and we can be flexible to suit your situation.

• On average, you visit up to 5 clients in one day.
